I never thought I would be giving an update BEFORE I even started to ride, but as of yesterday, hospice has already received $5500. I am SO VERY appreciative of all those who have donated to my cause. I can't wait to start riding. Tomorrow morning I fly to Portland. ...back to packing the last minute stuff!

Yeah, That is so exciting! I am sorry that Don and I were unable to attend the BBQ at your home. We were out of state at a family wedding. I will keep you in my prayers for your safety and for little to no problems on the trip. God Bless, Jeana McGregor
Hi Anne, I thought of you this morning when "The Today" show mentioned that it will be 105 degrees in Portland,OR, today, but I know that you stay cool while riding and get hot when you stop - so keep riding! Sounds like you have worked hard to be ready. Good luck with your ride - stay cool and safe. I will continue to monitor your journal.

Ben & I drove up to Wise yesterday for a regional hospice networking meeting. We were so proud to tell otehrs there of your journey & the wonderful supporrt you offer Wellmont Hospice. I am working on a poster frame to display your ride map in the lobby of the hospice house so we can track your progress. Be safe & know we love you & are so proud of what youare doing.
